I. 3C certification, voluntary product certification, product technology certification (China)
1, 3C certification
CCC certification is "China Compulsory Certification". Its English name is "China Compulsory Certification" and its abbreviation is "CCC". It is formulated by the state certification and Accreditation Administration in accordance with the provisions on the administration of compulsory product certification (Order No. 5 of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the people's Republic of China).
"CCC" is a unified mark for the use of compulsory product certification. 3C mark is not a quality mark, but a basic safety certification.
3C certification is "unified catalog, unified standard, technical regulation, conformity assessment procedure, unified certification mark and unified charging standard".
The 3C mark of fire products is generally pasted on the product surface or molded on the product. Each 3C sign is followed by a random code, and each random code has its corresponding manufacturer and product. When issuing the compulsory product certification mark, the certification mark issuing management center has input the corresponding product code into the computer database, and consumers can query the code through the national quality certification center.

Supervision and inspection: at least once every 12 months after the product certification, on-site supervision and inspection or sampling inspection shall be carried out in the factory and construction site (after reaching a certain category, the inspection frequency can be appropriately relaxed).
Note: foreign certification can not replace domestic certification. Products belonging to compulsory product certification catalogue can only be used after obtaining 3C certification.
2. Voluntary product certification
For some products not listed in the national compulsory certification catalogue, the non compulsory certification can be carried out. The non compulsory certification is a voluntary behavior of enterprises, which is called "voluntary product certification".

3. Product technical appraisal
The newly developed fire-fighting products that have not yet formulated national and industrial standards shall not be produced, sold or used until they have passed the technical appraisal and obtained the technical appraisal certificate.

II. UL certification (US)

UL is a shorthand for under underwriter Laboratories Inc. UL safety test institute is the most authoritative organization in the United States, and also a large non-governmental organization engaged in safety test and appraisal in the world.
UL is an independent, non-profit, professional organization for public safety testing. It uses scientific testing methods to study and determine whether various materials, devices, products, equipment, buildings, etc. are harmful to life and property; it determines, compiles and issues corresponding standards and materials that are helpful to reduce and prevent the loss of life and property, and it also carries out factual research. In a word, it is mainly engaged in product safety certification and operation safety certification business. Its ultimate purpose is to obtain goods with a considerable level of safety for the market, and to contribute to the guarantee of personal health and property safety. As an effective means to eliminate technical barriers in international trade, UL also plays an active role in promoting the development of international trade.
UL is a voluntary certification in the United States (UL certification is mandatory under the laws of some states in the United States). In fact, when the products are exported to the United States, they do not know about UL certification for consumers, but there are strict regulations in the United States, so some products need to be insured by a public recognized insurance company, so that in the future when there is harm to people, they can claim. And the premise that insurance companies underwrite products is to recognize the certification and report issued by institutions like UL.
